Bills break silence on new Highmark Stadium criticisms

The Buffalo Bills are playing in a new stadium and are hoping to bring a lot of success to the field as soon as this year. They played at the old Highmark Stadium from 1976 until last year. They recently unveiled the new Highmark Stadium to the public. But the reception was likely not what the team was hoping for.

Many fans have launched criticism toward the team over their new stomping grounds. A good amount of the criticism stems from obstructed sightlines in the new Highmark Stadium. Photos have circulated of blocked sightlines from either a glass staircase or some sort of wall. The team has now responded to the criticisms.

“We are currently addressing internal and external feedback regarding the facility’s operation following the first event. We’ll utilize the next six weeks to refine any details as we prepare for the home opener on Thursday, September 17,” the team said in a statement, via ESPN.

The Bills are truly entering a new era on and off the field. In addition to the new stadium, Buffalo has a new head coach in Joe Brady. The former offensive coordinator took the head-coaching gig following the firing of Sean McDermott in January.

There is a lot of hype around this Buffalo team. And it is their job to christen this new Highmark Stadium with a good season of football. The Bills begin the season on September 13th on the road against the Houston Texans. They make their debut at the new stadium on September 17th against the Detroit Lions.
