Taylor Starling fires back at Ronda Rousey’s OnlyFans insult

A few months ago, before her scheduled Netflix fight with Gina Carano, Ronda Rousey appeared for a press conference for her MMA comeback fight. However, at the press conference, Rousey began a rant on Dana White’s extremely low UFC pay.

Beginning her rant on White, Rousey also continued to call out insults directed at Valentina Shivchenko and other fighters, who use OnlyFans to earn a bit more money than their fight income. “It used to be that the UFC was the best place that you could come in combat sports to make a living and be paid fairly. Now, it’s one of the worst places to go,” she said. “It’s why so many of their top athletes are going to find pay elsewhere. It’s why their champions, like Valentina [Shevchenko], are selling pictures of their t***ies on OnlyFans.”

However, her comments did not sit well with BKFC fighter Taylor Starling, who was one of the first stars to embrace OnlyFans as another source of income. While she agreed that UFC significantly underpays its fighters, she countered her comments on OnlyFans and spoke out.

“As a whole, there’s plenty of women I don’t like, but at the end of the day, we’re all trying to do the same thing: Provide for our families,” Starling told during her interview with MMA Fighting. “Work hard and be good people. I think we can do without tearing each other apart. Now, do I wish that in the fighting industry that we made more money so we didn’t have to do things like that? Of course. But it is a blessing, and I can’t take your opinion to the bank. If you are not paying my bills and you’re not the man laying by me in my bed or the woman laying next to me in my bed, then your opinion is nothing to me.”

Starling recently fought Sydney Smith at BKFC Blood4Blood in May. 6, 2026, in Florida.
