Colin Cowherd’s unhinged Dodgers rant comes with embarrassing Tarik Skubal gaffe

While the Los Angeles Dodgers are unquestionably the best team in MLB, nothing is guaranteed. They are currently on a five-game losing streak. On Tuesday, Tarik Skubal made his Dodgers debut against the Chicago Cubs, resulting in a 6-2 loss.

As a result, some are questioning whether Los Angeles is poised to win three straight World Series titles. One of those is the always outspoken Colin Cowherd. On Wednesday’s episode of The Herd w/Colin Cowherd, he tore up the LA mystique and, in the process, the media itself.

In other words, Los Angeles has a nice-looking car, but is it running well? A combination of poor offensive production and strained bullpen depth has contributed to this recent slog.

Furthermore, acquiring the likes of Skubal before the Trade Deadline isn’t a guarantee that things will turn around right away. Not to mention that Shohei Ohtani continues to battle a knee injury. An issue that has taken Ohtani out of the pitching rotation and jeopardizes a fourth straight NL MVP.

Nevertheless, the Dodgers are surging ahead with a 69-45 record. They are comfortably ahead of the second-place Arizona Diamondbacks by nine games in the National League West Division.

All that in mind signifies that Los Angeles needs to get back in full swing. Otherwise, they will continue to show that a $430 million payroll can’t buy wins or another World Series.
