Packers’ O-line ranking on RotoWire a cause for concern for 2026 season

The Green Bay Packers have been up and down so far during training camp and the preseason, giving fans things to be both excited and discouraged by as the new season approaches. One area of concern for the Packers heading into the 2026 campaign is the offensive line, which the team didn’t do much to upgrade over the course of this offseason.

Now, Ian Hartitz of Rotowire has revealed on X, formerly Twitter, that the Packers have the 30th, or third-to-last, ranked offensive line unit in the league this year according to the publication, with only the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans being worse. Directly ahead of the Packers are the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Packers will certainly want the offensive line to perform better than that ranking would indicate this year in order to help keep star quarterback Jordan Love upright this season. Love has dealt with numerous injury absences throughout the course of his career, and now that he no longer has the reliable Malik Willis backing him up, it will be even more important for the offensive line to give him time in the pocket and keep him on his feet.

The good news for the Packers is that they are among the most talented teams in the NFL in various other positional departments. Green Bay is looking to bounce back after two straight ugly Wild Card exits over the last couple of seasons, with the pressure threatening to heat up on head coach Matt LaFleur if the team can’t scrape together a better result this time around.

The Packers are slated to kick off their regular season on September 13 with a divisional road game against the Minnesota Vikings.
