New AEW international show location and date announced

After hosting events in Mexico, Australia, and the UK, AEW is now headed toward another international destination. After England and Scotland, AEW is set to host one more show in Europe.

In a recent article by Sports Business Journal, it was announced that AEW will host its first live event in France. As per the reports, All Elite Wrestling is set to produce AEW Grand Slam France on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from Adidas Arena in Paris. AEW Dynamite and Collision are also set to be taped during this event. Tickets for this show are scheduled to go on sale Friday, Aug. 28, 2026 at 10 a.m. CEST through AEWTix.com and LiveNation.fr.

“There are so many great wrestling fans in France, and a lot of fans from France have made the trek to London to see AEW, and we believe there’s a lot of excitement around All Elite Wrestling in Paris, and it just felt like this would be the perfect time to launch with a huge event,” Khan opened up to Sports Business Journal.

The Grand Slam series’ ninth installment, which will be broadcast on TBS and HBO Max, is scheduled for Paris. This follows earlier special events held in New York, Brisbane, Mexico City, and Sydney. AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Kha explained that France was a sensible choice for their next event due to the significant number of French fans travelling to London for AEW shows such as All In 2026 and because of Paris’ status as a marquee global sports and entertainment market.

AEW’s future in France after Grand Slam Paris

The upcoming October event is set to be AEW’s first-ever event in France, and Khan is hopeful that All Elite Wrestling is able to run additional events in France. However, the success of AEW’s Paris event will be judged by its attendance, live-event revenue and viewership.

“I don’t need to watch [the market] because I’ve experienced it before, and I just know the moment that we go over there, and the bell goes off, the French fans are going to let us know they want us to keep coming back,” Ospreay said while speaking to Sports Business Journal.
