Cowboys’ Dak Prescott reaches last-minute custody deal with ex
Dak Prescott and his ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, avoided a courtroom showdown after reaching a temporary custody agreement regarding their two daughters.
Page Six reported that the former couple finalized an informal settlement earlier this week, just days before a scheduled court hearing. A Collin County, Texas, judge signed the agreement Wednesday, preventing what could have become a public dispute.
Court documents state the arrangement serves the best interests of their children, though the agreement will remain unfiled unless enforcement becomes necessary. The resolution allows both sides to move forward without immediate legal conflict.

Dak Prescott, Sarah Jane Ramos emphasize co-parenting
Both parties signaled alignment in their approach. Ramos’ attorney, Raymond Rafool, said she values making joint decisions and believes cooperation will benefit their daughters long term. Prescott’s attorney, Levi G. McCathern II, described the agreement as a positive step that reflects the quarterback’s commitment to a supportive environment.
The development follows a sudden shift in their relationship. Prescott and Ramos called off their planned April wedding in Lake Como weeks before the ceremony. Soon after, Prescott filed a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship, commonly used in Texas to define custody and parental responsibilities for unmarried parents.
In the filing, Prescott sought joint managing conservatorship of their daughters, Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 10 months. The temporary agreement appears to support that framework, keeping both parents involved while avoiding a prolonged legal battle.
