However, a more clinical Real Madrid turned up on Wednesday and put on a show in front of their home fans, thrashing Real Sociedad 4-1 at the Bernabeu.

Kylian Mbappe stole the headlines with a hat-trick. Vinicius Junior also chipped in with his first goal of the season to complete a memorable night for Los Blancos.

Malaga are the next team to face the daunting prospect of taking on a rampant Real on home turf.

Their first season back in the top flight has so far not gone to plan.

Juan Francisco Funes’ team have so far picked up just one point from their opening two matches.

The White and Blues began with a 2-0 defeat away to Atletico.

Then on Monday they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Deportivo, with Chupete’s penalty after 31 minutes levelling the score.

Malaga had the better of the match, but it was a disappointing result against a side that also gained promotion from the Segunda Division last season.

He is just 3/10 to score anytime against Malaga, but that seems too short to back.

After a summer full of transfer speculation, the Brazilian decided to stay and it’s clear that Jose Mourinho is trying to build him up.

Vinicius was heavily involved in the win over Sociedad, scoring Real’s third and providing one assist for Mbappe.

He is very short to score or assist at 27/100, so instead we are backing him to provide one or more assists at odds against.

After all, Mbappe gets the majority of the goals, so backing Vini to assist at better odds makes far more sense.

Malaga lost 2-0 to Atletico in the Red and White half of Madrid’s opening game of the season.

Real is going to be a far tougher assignment. They look up and running, which spells danger for Malaga.

Real put four past Sociedad and we can see them doing the same at the very least to Malaga.
