Are TreVeyon Henderson, Nick Emmanwori playing tonight? Patriots vs. Seahawks injury report

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will be opening up the season in a Super Bowl rematch, and many are excited to see what each team looks like. The last time these two played, the Seahawks walked away with the trophy, dominating the Patriots on both sides of the ball. Throughout the offseason, the Patriots made some upgrades, and they’re hoping it’s enough to get back to the Super Bowl to avenge themselves.

Coming into the matchup, both teams are dealing with injuries. TreVeyon Henderson has been dealing with an ankle injury that has caused him to miss practice since Aug. 24. As for the Seahawks, Nick Emmanwori he underwent surgery on his ankle during the offseason and is still recovering.

TreVeyon Henderson’s status vs. Seahawks

Henderson has been ruled out for the matchup against the Seahawks, and it felt like that was the way it was heading after his last practice was weeks ago. Henderson had a strong season last year and was one of the fastest players on the field. The Patriots will now rely on Rhamondre Stevenson to lead the running back room, with Corey Kiner backing him up.

Nick Emmanwori’s status vs. Patriots

Emmanwori is listed as questionable against the Patriots, and it seems like there is a chance that he actually suits up. He’s been working to get back on the field, and the Seahawks are going to need him this season if they want to replicate what they were able to do on defense last season.

As it gets closer to game time, it seems like there will be more clarity on Emmanwori’s status, but the good news is that he’s somewhat ready to go.
