Are 76ers’ Tyrese Maxey, Paul George playing vs. Bucks with Joel Embiid out, playoff seeding on the line?

It has come down to the final game of the regular season, and the Philadelphia 76ers still don’t know where they will finish in the Eastern Conference. There are still several scenarios where they can finish as the No. 6, No. 7, or No. 8 seed. For them, their best bet is to finish either No. 6 or No. 7, and that means they’ll have to beat the Milwaukee Bucks, plus get help from other teams.

With the 76ers dealing with injuries for most of the season once again, many are wondering if Tyrese Maxey and Paul George will be suiting up, especially with Joel Embiid already out.

Here is their injury status ahead of their final game.

Tyrese Maxey, Paul George’s injury status vs. Bucks

Maxey is listed as available on the injury report as he still deals with right finger tendon strain, while George is not listed on the injury report. It’s going to come down to Maxey and George to get them this win, and luckily, they’re facing a Bucks team that doesn’t have anything to play for.

If the 76ers win and both the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic lose their game, they’ll be the No. 6 seed. If they win and either one of the Raptors or Magic loses, they’ll finish No. 7.

If the 76ers lose, or if the Raptors and Magic win, they’ll finish No. 8.

The 76ers are probably hoping for the first two scenarios, because if they finish as the No. 6 seed, they won’t have to worry about the Play-In tournament. If they finish at No. 7, they’ll be in the play-in, but they’ll host a game, and if they lose, they’ll host the second game as well against the winner of the No. 9/No. 10 matchup.

In the end, it looks like all the 76ers need to do is take care of business, and the dominos fall where they may.
