Released WWE wrestler undergoes shocking transformation

After years of separation following Indi Hartwell’s departure from WWE a couple of years ago, Hartwell has now finally reunited with her kayfabe husband Dexter Lumis.The couple shares a long, storied history. In 2021, WWE NXT fans saw Lumis marry Hartwell (kayfabe) on WWE NXT, with members of The Way: Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Austin Theory in attendance. The couple became extremely popular among the fans and came to be known as InDex.

Now, just days after he departed from WWE, fans saw Lumis reunite with Indi Hartwell on social media. In the same video, he also underwent a major new transformation. The former Wyatt Sicks member received a makeover by Hartwell. The former NXT Women’s Champion used a trimmer to clean-shave Lumis, leaving his iconic moustache. She also proceeded to get rid of Lumis’ dreadlocks.

The makeover left Lumis with his original iconic look of a moustache and short hair. The video ended with 7.24.26, which signified Lumis’ WWE no-compete clause policy’s end date. Just hours before the Apr. 24, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE released several LFG, NXT, and main-roster Superstars. While a few emerging talents were let go, some of the big names, such as members of The Wyatt Sicks, Kairi Sane, and a few more, were released too.

Dexter Lumis’ WWE tag team partner Joe Gacy broke silence on their release

Just hours after The Wyatt Sicks were released, Lumis’ tag-team partner Joe Gacy addressed the release and shared an emotional note on social media.

“What can I say? I achieved a dream. I had the chance to work somewhere I always wanted to since me and my brother use to watch Monday Night Raw and fight each other on our beds. I worked for years and got the chance and it honestly was a pleasure. To anyone I shared a ring with during my time thank you. To any producers I worked with during my time. Thank you,” he wrote.

“My partner, my brother. Thank you for being someone I can rely on in and out of the ring. You honestly have been an inspiration and a great influence on my professionally and personally,” Gacy wrote as a special gesture toward Lumis.
