British amateur standout Kayla Allen has become the first female to sign with Zuffa Boxing.

The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a long-term promotional agreement, with her professional debut set for September 26 in her native London.

Allen entered the amateur scene in 2023 and won 26 of her 33 bouts, with success at the 2025 European U23 Championships and 2026 Boxam Tournament in Spain.

“I feel honoured to be in this position,” Allen said following the announcement of her move to Zuffa.

“With the backing of Zuffa and Sky Sports, I can become a big star on both sides of the Atlantic.

“I appreciate my team for believing in me and securing this landmark deal.

“I’ll be bringing the heat in the ring, and my fans will bring the noise on September 26.”

Allen started boxing less than five years ago, learning her craft by watching highlight videos of Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson.

In her first year as an amateur, she joined GB Boxing and reached the Senior Elite finals.

Her professional career will continue under the guidance of longtime trainer Alex Leo.

Allen to feature on Johnny Fisher card

Allen’s pro debut will take place at London’s Copper Box Arena as part of the undercard for Zuffa Boxing 11.

The event is headlined by the promotional debut of English heavyweight Johnny Fisher, who ditched longtime promoter Eddie Hearn in July to sign with Zuffa Boxing.

‘The Romford Bull’ has turned the Copper Box Arena into somewhat of a home over the last two years, suffering his only pro defeat to fellow Brit Dave Allen in the venue.

He previously knocked out Alen Babic in one round at the Copper Box Arena before controversially defeating Allen by split decision in the pair’s first bout in Saudi Arabia.

What is Zuffa Boxing?

Zuffa Boxing launched in 2025 and is powered by UFC CEO Dana White and Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh.

WBO super lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson became the promotion’s highest-profile signing earlier this month when he agreed to a multi-fight, multi-year deal.

White has claimed that his promotion will be involved with the blockbuster all-British heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Fury vs Joshua is expected to take place later this year, but a date and venue have not been confirmed.

Having already visited Bournemouth for Chris Billam-Smith vs Ryan Rozicki for the promotion’s first-ever card on British soil, Zuffa Boxing returns to the UK in September.

The event is being shown live on Sky Sports.
