Over the last two NFL offseasons, four former Buckeyes receivers have signed contract extensions worth a combined $527.6 million, further cementing Ohio State’s reputation as the premier destination for elite wide receiver talent. • Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 4 years, $168.6 million
• Chris Olave: 4 years, $132 million
• Garrett Wilson: 4 years, $130 million
• Terry McLaurin: 3 years, $97 million

Those contracts aren’t just life-changing for the players — they’re another recruiting tool for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has consistently produced NFL-ready receivers over the past two decades, and the program’s recent success has reached another level. Smith-Njigba, Olave, Wilson, and McLaurin have all developed into No. 1-caliber receivers in the NFL, earning the type of contracts reserved for the league’s biggest stars.
