Landry Shamet tips his cap to Spurs after Game 3: ‘They kicked our a** tonight
New York Knicks guard Landry Shamet revealed how the San Antonio Spurs played with a sense of desperation in Game 3’s 115-111 win that pulled the best-of-7 series, 2-1. Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs avoided a 3-0 deficit and now have an opportunity to tie the series in Game 4 at Madison Square Garden.
After the win, Shamet didn’t hold back on how the Spurs dominated the Knicks, per SNY Knicks’ X, formerly Twitter.
“They came out. They made adjustments. They were more physical,” Shamet said. “The hit first and give them credit. They played a hell of a game, and kicked our a** tonight. We’ve gotta bounce back, we plan to do that and get better starting tomorrow.”
