Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke destroys ‘trolls’ coming after her for ‘thirst trap’ post remembering father

Last year in Jul. 2025, WWE and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan passed away due to an acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack. Shortly after his death, the wrestling world went into mourning, with TMZ releasing a documentary on Hogan, followed by Netflix’s recent release of a Hogan documentary. While most people experienced the legend’s passing away from the outside, his own daughter, Brooke, and son, Nick, had a more heartbreaking experience.

Despite sharing a tense relationship with her father, Brooke was one of the few to raise questions about his death. Recently, the 38-year-old had uploaded a carousel of images on social media, remembering her relationship with her father. However, the first picture on the carousel was of her sunbathing on a beach, wearing a bikini.

“Needed some time with my thoughts, my daddy and the ocean he loved so much. Every wave hit my heart like a memory that felt like it was yesterday. The waves carried the bass in his voice, the salt water felt like his hugs. The smell of the ocean smelled like so many days on the boat we spent together. I remember him whisking me across the surf like King Triton holding his Little Mermaid… if I could breathe underwater, I’d spend forever under the sea if it meant being that much closer to him. The tears were endless today,” she had initially shared.

This caused an uproar on the internet, with several trolls calling her out and trolling her publicly. However, the mother of two was quick to defend her actions and shared another set of images, defending her “thirst trap” first post and responding to the critics.

“Trust me, if I wanted to give you a thirst trap, you would have gotten one. If I were a surfer, a swim instructor, heavier, thinner… would it be less shocking? I grew up in swimsuits. I understand that not a lot of the world gets that. But this is my home,” she wrote. “This is me. This is my one of many days I grieved my dad. Shame on anyone for demonizing it. I am a human. My father was human. And you people have the nerve to act like you’re experts on ANY topic or know anything about my experience with him? Even my closest family has no clue what I know and have experienced. And you come at me with your ignorant opinions and nasty comments hiding behind your screens? Go back under your bridge, trolls.”

Brooke Hogan finds support for her defense

Shortly after, Brooke Hogan attacked and brutally destroyed her trolls; she found support from her fans and followers, who began speaking in her favor. “Thinking of you! You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone! wrote Brooke Pitt. While TV personality Mina Starsiak Hawk commented, “I’m so sorry so many people suck. I know you have miles of empathy so just remind yourself their nastiness is more often about their own unhappiness than a reflection of anything about you. Doesn’t make it suck less, but helps me sometimes.”
