EFL thug who has served bans for biting and headbutting set to leave for Serie A
Controversial Preston North End striker Milutin Osmajic has agreed a transfer to Serie A side Genoa.
Osmajic, who has served multiple bans for biting, headbutting and alleged racism, will depart Preston after three years.

The 27-year-old featured in the club’s pre-season and started their first two competitive games of the campaign.
He played 90 minutes in Preston’s defeat to Bolton last weekend, but then played no part in their loss to Wolves on Saturday.
And after that Championship match, manager Paul Heckingbottom confirmed that he would be leaving the club imminently.
Heckingbottom revealed to the Lancashire Post: “Yes, I think that [the transfer to Genoa] has been agreed today.
“I think we’ve come off and I think that’s been agreed today.”
Osmajic’s constant controversy
Osmajic will leave England with a terrible reputation, having been banned on three separate occasions for Preston.
His first came in October 2024, when he was handed an eight-match suspension and a £15,000 fine for biting an opponent.
The Montenegro international admitted to biting then Blackburn defender Owen Beck and was charged by the FA.
Then, in February 2025, Osmajic was involved in another major controversy, as he was accused of racially abusing Burnley’s Hannibal Mejbri during a Championship match.
Mejbri reported the incident and explained it on social media, while Osmajic strongly refuted the accusations, but he was eventually charged by the FA and a hearing took place in September.

The FA would go on to slap the Preston forward with a nine-match ban and a £21,000 fine following the incident.
Osmajic was suspended in November, with another controversy coming just two months later in January 2026.
He headbutted Hull City midfielder John Lundstram in the final seconds of a defeat to the Tigers in the Championship.
The ever-angry frontman pushed Lundstram over in reaction to a drag back before going on to headbutt him too.
Osmajic was shown a straight red card and banned for three games, with a melee ensuing on the touchline after full time.
Now, after years of trouble, he is going to leave England for Italy to feature in Serie A for Genoa, who lost 2-0 at home to Napoli in their opening game of the new season on Saturday.
