AJ Dybantsa vs. Darryn Peterson NBA Summer League matchup officially set

With the NBA Draft officially over, many are now waiting to see the players in action, and that will happen during the Summer League. Fans of the Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz are ready for the battle of AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson, and it will take place on July 9, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

“AJ Dybantsa will face off against Darryn Peterson the first night of NBA Summer League on July 9 at 9 PM ET,” Siegel wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Dybantsa and Peterson have faced off against each other in high school and college, but now, they’ll be able to show off their skills on a bigger stage in July. From there, everyone will then have to wait to see the two go against each other in the NBA for the rest of their careers.

Dybantsa was the obvious pick for the Wizards, as they had the No. 1 pick in the draft. He will join a team with young talent and also veterans, such as Trae Young and Anthony Davis, in hopes of competing soon in the Eastern Conference.

As for Peterson, he was drafted with the No. 2 pick by the Jazz, and he also joins a young team with some budding talent.

Both players should be able to make an immediate impact on their respective teams, and it will be interesting to see how they uplift their teams throughout their careers. For now, everyone will be tuned in to see how they fare in the Summer League, which is just a sneak peek of what is to come in the future.
