WWE planning to lower upcoming ticket prices

A few years ago, after former chairman Vince McMahon stepped down and walked out of WWE following the emergence of the Janel Grant lawsuit, TKO took over. However, since TKO’s takeover, WWE has undergone several crucial management and operations changes.

Since TKO’s takeover, WWE ticket prices have been on the rise. With weekly shows, live shows, and PLE ticket prices jumping over the roof, fans have also witnessed a reduction in live show dates, as well as shorter match cards. With WWE WrestleMania 42 coming up, the promotion has been reportedly upset with its ticket sales for the event.

Trying new methods to increase their ticket sales, WWE recently brought out John Cena and Pat McAfee to hype up the WrestleMania 42 build. Later, Bryan Alvarez of WON noted that WWE ticket prices could go down very soon. “If it wasn’t obvious from Punk’s promo, it appears WWE is looking to lower ticket prices through the summer.”

As concerns regarding WWE’s ticket prices grow, the company broke the fourth wall on the latest Apr. 6, 2026, episode of Monday Night RAW, CM Punk delivered a pipebomb where he publicly addressed the grievances related to WWE’s high ticket prices.

“You wanna talk about ticket sales, do me a favor — call up that agent that was foolish enough to shoehorn you into this business and this show and tell him to lower the ticket prices,” Punk said.

“I’ll be damned if I’m gonna have you — somebody who kicked a football for a living — come to my business and talk to me about selling tickets and putting asses in seats. You’ve got a receipt coming to you.”
