Why Vanessa Trump is worried about Tiger Woods

Vanessa Trump just wants Tiger Woods to feel good.

The professional golfer and Vanessa have been dating for over a year, and she has reportedly grown concerned about how he’s feeling amid his DUI arrest.

Last month, Woods was involved in a single-car rollover crash in Florida, where he was later arrested for a DUI. Upon his arrest, law enforcement found two hydrocodone pills in his pocket. He refused to take a urine test but did take a breathalyzer, which came back negative. He has since been seeking treatment following the arrest and has found additional support from his girlfriend.

“She has been there for him despite how busy she is with her children and her own life,” the source tells People before sharing she ‘loves’ and ‘supports’ the golfer. “She loves him and cares about him. She wants him to feel good, play well, and be happy.”

She shared her support of him on social media by sharing a photo of the two cuddling, with the caption, “Love you.” The couple went public with their relationship in March 2025 and she was seen supporting him last month at the TGL Finals.

Another source shared that he also has the backing of his family to get through this difficult time: “They want to do whatever they can to help him through this period and get back to as normal a life as possible after all of these years in the public eye,” the source says.

“They know his more recent life with pain has been tough, and they hope people will offer him some kindness.”

Four days after the incident, Woods broke his silence on the incident and shared that he would be seeking rehabilitation to focus on his recovery.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” the golfer said in a statement on March 31.

“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery. I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally,” Woods continued. “I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

Following the incident, Woods was charged with a DUI with property damage, refusal to submit to a lawful urine test, and a citation for careless driving. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been ordered to appear in Martin County court next month.
