The NBA Play-In Tournament continues as teams fight for their chance at the 2026 NBA Playoffs as we bring you another betting prediction and pick. The No. 10 Golden State Warriors (37-45) take on the No. 9 Los Angeles Clippers (42-40) for a chance to keep their season alive. Check our NBA odds series for the Warriors-Clippers prediction and pick.
The Golden State Warriors ended the regular season losing seven of their last 10 games, including a loss to this Clippers team in their season finale. They’re just 1-3 against Los Angeles this season as they await pending injury news, but it’s never wise to count out Stephen Curry and the former champions.
The Los Angeles Clippers ended the regular season with eight wins over their final 12 games, gaining steam and getting healthy at the right time ahead of this play-in tournament. With a favorable history over the Warriors, they come into this game as the home betting favorites.

Keys to Warriors vs. Clippers Matchup
The Los Angeles Clippers have own this season series against the Warriors and they’ve been even more impressive over the last 10 games of this rivalry. Both teams concluded their regular season schedules against one another, to which Los Angeles took the 115-110 win on the road in Golden State. Clippers’ Benedict Mathurin posted a near triple-double with a 20p/9r/8a stat line as his team overcame a solid 24 points from a hobbled Stephen Curry. The Warriors certainly aren’t at 100% in terms of their health, but the hope is that the additional day of rest can help this in this win-or-go-home situation.
The good news for Golden State is that center Kristaps Porzingis was able to log 24 minutes in the season finale while adding a team-high eight rebounds. Both him and Al Horford have missed intermittent stretches of games, but it’s a promising sign to see both players healthy and starting their last outing. They’ll be the key to Golden State’s success in the paint against the Clippers, which rank as the NBA’s second-worst rebounding team (40.6 RPG).
The Clippers, on the other hand, will be working behind Kawhi Leonard who’d quietly been having a career season. Leonard is averaging a career-high 27.9 PPG, career-high 89.2% from the free-throw line, and a very efficient 50.5% from the field on the season. With the addition of Darius Garland running point, Leonard has been able to focus his effort solely on scoring the ball and returning to his aggressive, shot-creating style of play.
Still, it’s never wise to count the Golden State Warriors out thanks to their championship experience and Draymond Green will certainly have a hand in employing some veteran tactics to give his team the edge. Warriors’ Brandin Podziemski is also averaging a solid 44.4% from three against the Clippers this season, so expect Golden State to look his way from deep in relieving some pressure off Stephen Curry.
Warriors vs. Clippers Prediction and Pick
While the Los Angeles Clippers have widely owned this series against the Warriors over their last 10 meetings, it’s never smart to count out Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green in a win-or-go-home situation. They’ll have a strong game plan heading into this one and much of their success can stem from the interior mismatch through Kristaps Porzingis. If the Warriors can dominate on the glass early, they should have a strong case for leading this game at halftime and carrying momentum throughout.
Still, I expect the scoring of Kawhi Leonard to carry the Clippers throughout much of this game while Darius Garland controls the game flow from the guard spot. If the Warriors had momentum on their side heading into this matchup, we’d consider a look at their spread here. But the Clippers’ recent success against Golden State is hard to fade, so we’ll ride with the Los Angeles Clippers to advance and send the Warriors packing.
Final Warriors-Clippers Prediction & Pick: Los Angeles Clippers -4.5 (-118); OVER 220.5 (-110)
