Caitlin Clark was unstoppable as she made WNBA history following her performance in the Indiana Fever’s 111-91 blowout win over the Connecticut Sun on Friday night.

Clark is going through the third season of her WNBA career with the Fever. After going through injuries in 2025, she has enjoyed a healthy season as Indiana looks forward to playoff basketball.

Going into Indiana’s clash with Connecticut, Clark has showed off strong momentum with a tendency to make records in unique ways. This time, she channeled the double-double side of her game.

In 34 minutes of action, Clark outmatched with Connecticut defenders in every way she wanted. She finished with a stat line of 34 points, 12 assists, five rebounds, and three steals. She shot 12-of-19 from the field, including 6-of-12 from beyond the arc, and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.

Her efforts allowed her to have the second consecutive game of getting a double-double with 30 or more points and 10 or more assists throughout WNBA history.

Caitlin Clark enjoyed lighting up the nets with her performance as the Fever rolled over the Sun with the blowout victory.

Four players scored in double-digits for Indiana in the win, including Clark. Kelsey Mitchell delivered a strong performance with 34 points, four assists, three rebounds, and one steal. She shot 12-of-19 overall, including 4-of-9 from downtown, and 6-of-10 from the charity stripe. Aliyah Boston came next with 14 points and two rebounds, while Makayla Timpson provided 10 points and eight rebounds.

Indiana improved to a 26-14 record on the season, sitting at first place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are above the Atlanta Dream and the New York Liberty at the moment.

The Fever will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. Being on break due to the FIBA Women’s World Cup, they will return when they host the Toronto Tempo as tip-off takes place on Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
