Packers’ Will Sheppard provides preseason spark with 80-yard punt return TD
Will Sheppard pulled off an incredible highlight in the Green Bay Packers’ preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals on Friday night.
Sheppard is preparing for the second year of his NFL career, his first with the Packers. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2025, finally earning a reserve contract this year.
Sheppard has been embracing the chances he has on the team, taking part in the offense and special teams. He seeks to earn a place on the regular-season roster, having the practice squad be his safety net.
Safe to say he garnered attention in the preseason finale. This highlight took place midway through the second quarter as Sheppard retrieved the punt, got past defenders and ran for 80 yards to the end zone for the touchdown.
