After a decent 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the USMNT began its 2026 World Cup journey on a successful note. On Jun. 12, 2026, the USMNT thrashed their rivals Paraguay 4-1 at the Los Angeles Stadium.

While the team became the talk of the town following their win, they also went viral on the internet due to their wild celebration. The USMNT’s star defenders, Antonee Robinson and Mark McKenzie, flaunted their dance moves in the locker room after their iconic World Cup first game performance. The USMNT’s official social media shared the video and wrote, “DUB Dance.”

Their iconic dance performance also cheered up the fans who voiced their support for the budding USMNT team. “I’m proud to be American [eagle emoji] [USA flag emoji],” wrote one fan. While another person commented, “They played like the old Brazilian squad yesterday and now are dancing like the Brazilians as well!! Great performance, amazing vibes.” While another user wrote, “If they came play how they played yesterday, they can go far.”

USMNT beat Paraguay 4-1 in front of over than 70,000 fans who packed Los Angeles Stadium. Hosting the World Cup in their home ground, the team began their campaign on an extremely successful note. However, it was just the first game of the tournament and they still have two more matches to end their group stage on a high note.

Former USMNT player Shaq Moore also predicted a similar result for their game against Paraguay

A few days ago, during an exclusive interview with ClutchPoints, former USMNT player Shaq Moore shared his prediction for the USMNT’s first World Cup game against Paraguay. “I think on paper you would probably say that the US, you know, should win that game, but, you know, in today’s soccer, anybody can beat anybody. I know you don’t wanna overlook any country, no matter how big or how small. So starting with Paraguay, you know it’s gonna be a tough game. Technical players, good players. We gotta be ready.”
