Shane Collins (7-0) will be making his UFC debut as an undefeated prospect with a 5-0 record and title belt under Urijah Faber’s A1 combat. He’s managed to finish five of his seven pro fights inside the distance and comes into this bout as the strong underdog looking to make a strong impression in his first appearance. Collins stands 5-foot-10.
Otari Tanzilovi (10-1) will also make his UFC debut following an unsuccessful attempt on Dana White’s Contender Series where he fell to Josias Musasa via split decision. He went back and notched a win at Fury FC in February 2025, looking to capitalize on his second shot at the UFC during this debut. Tanzilovi stands 5-foot-10.

Why Shane Collins Will Win
- Last Fight: (W) Talon Hammons – TKO (punches, R1)
- Last 5: 4-1
- Finishes: 4 KO/TKO, 1 SUB
Shane Collins comes into this debut as a prospect with a ton to prove coming from Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. He’s ranked as the No. 2 overall fighter in California and the US Western region, formerly holding a championship belt with A1 combat and defending his title successfully. With a nickname like “Hollywood,” he’s certainly grown accustomed to giving fans a show with five finishes (4 KO/TKO) through his first pro fights. Skipping the DWCS pipeline, he’ll need to impress with another big performance in this one.
Collins is very fundamentally sound and will feel comfortable wherever the fight takes place. He’s a strong wrestler and does a great job sprawling during takedown attempts, able to transition positions and put opponents in a bad spot if he’s able to take the back or secure mount. Collins does his best work on the feet, however, as he’s ultra-aggressive with his hands and will mix in devastating elbows to try and surprise his opponent.
Collins will have to shake off any pre-fight jitters ahead of this one, but his experience as a champion in another organization should have him ready for the bright lights of the UFC. Look for Collins to press Tanzilovi against the fence and break the clinch with big striking actions and potentially knees up the middle. He’s very violent with his striking and will quickly be looking to finish the fight if he has Tanzilovi compromised at any point.
Why Otari Tanzilovi Will Win
- Last Fight: (W) Guillermo Torres – U DEC
- Last 5: 4-1
- Finishes: 7 KO/TKO
Otari Tanzilovi will also be making his UFC debut, starring in several regional organizations before getting his opportunity on Dana White’s Contender Series. While he couldn’t come up with the win, the ‘split decision’ verdict could have easily gone his way and he put on a good fight nonetheless, earning himself this second shot during a Fight Night card. He has a ton of potential at just 28 years old and will have a great chance to showcase his full skill set during this fight.
Tanzilovi is very active in his stance, constantly bouncing around and changing directions as he breaks opponents down with his striking. He has extremely fast kicks to all three levels and will follow it up with combinations, oftentimes overwhelming his opponents with lightning-fast offense that’s difficult to react to. When watching his tape, diehard MMA fans may draw comparisons to former UFC prospect Zabit Magomedsharipov and his exciting stand-up style that included a similar dangerous kicking game.
During this fight, Tanzilovi should be successful given his fighting style and a strong matchup against Collins, who’s much more planted in his stance when exchanging. Still, Collins is willing to stand in the pocket and trade shots while Tanzilovi may want to avoid a brawl in order to give himself range and distance to strike with his combinations.
Final Shane Collins-Otari Tanzilovi Prediction & Pick
This should be a fun fight between two talented prospects as both men will be eager to showcase their skills in front of Dana White and the matchmakers. Tanzilovi is certainly the more dynamic striker of the two, but Collins is much more fundamental and has a cleaner fighting style that will benefit him in a three-round decision.
Ultimately, while Tanzilovi should be able to get some good shots off, I expect Collins to neutralize much of the offense through takedown attempts and in the clinch. If he’s able to withstand Tanzilovi’s biggest shots, he should have no issue walking through his opponent and earning the knockout. Be on the lookout for his body shots as he favors those when opponents are hurt.
Final Shane Collins-Otari Tanzilovi Prediction & Pick: Shane Collins (-180); OVER 2.5 Rounds (-145)
