Seahawks’ Julian Love goes full NSFW with hilarious Derick Hall claim

The Seattle Seahawks will enter the new season with only one goal in mind: Defend the title. The Seahawks made an inspired run to the championship last season, winning the crown for the first time since 2014.

Not many expected Seattle, which had a 14-3 record, to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy, but coach Mike Macdonald made everybody buy into the system, with quarterback Sam Darnold, running back Kenneth Walker III, wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, safety Nick Emmanwori, and cornerback Devon Witherspoon carrying the torch.

Except for Walker’s move to the Kansas City Chiefs, the team retained its core. The Seahawks also re-signed linebacker Derick Hall, who was instrumental in their victory in Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots.

He signed a three-year extension worth $42 million on Wednesday. As a way to congratulate Hall, safety Julian Love issued an incredibly loving remark.

“There’s nobody that talks more s***, or gets more s*** talked to him than Derick Hall,” joked Love, as quoted by Seahawks reporter Brian Nemhauser.

Ah, nothing like a good roast from a teammate.

The 28-year-old Love and the 25-year-old Hall have developed a tight friendship in Seattle. They entered the team at the same time in 2023, with Love joining in free agency and Hall getting drafted as the No. 37 pick.

Hall said it was an easy decision for him to re-sign with the defending champions, even though he could earn more money in free agency next year.

“I know we’re going to win a lot of games and a lot of championships here. So, I’m willing to sacrifice whatever everybody else thought I’d be willing to make to be here and with this team,” said the former Auburn star in a report from the Associated Press’ Andrew Destin.

The Seahawks will begin their title defense against the Patriots.
