Robert Irwin makes Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce honeymoon pitch with crocodile twist

The son of the legendary Steve Irwin, Robert, has pitched a honeymoon location for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after their wedding.

The couple chose to have their wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, 2026. In an interview released by Access Hollywood (via People) a week later on Monday, July 13, Irwin said that the “honeymoon is on the table.” He welcomed them to the Crocodile Hunter Lodge at Australia Zoo with open arms.

“I mean, you’ve got an infinity pool looking over a paddock full of kangaroos. If that doesn’t say honeymoon, I don’t know what does.”

He doubled down by saying he’d show them “how to wrangle a crocodile,” should they visit Australia. Irwin is confident that “they’d love it.”

Previously, People reported an exclusive clip of ABC News’ year-end special, The Year: 2025, Irwin talked about hosting weddings at Australia Zoo. He would’ve loved to have hosted Swift and Kelce’s wedding, saying, “Wow, Travis and Taylor. You know what’d really, in my opinion, just absolutely make that wedding is if it was an Australian wedding. Hit me up. I got you.”

It’s unknown if Irwin was at Swift and Kelce’s ceremony in New York City. However, he still seems eager to celebrate their marriage.

He is the son of conservationists Steve and Terri Irwin. In addition to his wildlife work, he won the latest season of Dancing with the Stars in 2025.

Swift and Kelce’s wedding took place at Madison Square Garden, and an estimated one thousand guests were in attendance. An intimate rehearsal dinner was held the day before, on Thursday, July 2.

The wedding came nearly a full year after they announced their engagement in August 2025. At the time of Kelce’s proposal, it had been almost two years since they went public with their relationship.
