Rams’ Alaric Jackson arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence

The Los Angeles Rams are currently participating in OTAs as they prepare for the upcoming season. On Tuesday, the team got a troubling update regarding one of the key members of their offensive line.

“#Rams LT Alaric Jackson was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of felony domestic violence. He was booked into jail and later released after posting $50,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for June 30 in Los Angeles,” reported Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team on X, formerly Twitter.

Jackson was reportedly arrested at his home in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, per Dennis Broad of NBC Los Angeles. Police said a woman with whom he had gotten into an argument had scratch marks on her arms, at which point they took Jackson into custody.

Jackson has been with the Rams since the 2021 season after going undrafted and has established himself as a valuable player on the team’s offensive line.

He was suspended in 2024 for two games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, although the circumstances of that incident were unclear.

There have been multiple high-profile NFL stars arrested for domestic violence-related charges this offseason, including James Pearce Jr. of the Atlanta Falcons and Josh Jacobs of the Green Bay Packers. None of those cases have been resolved as of yet.

Meanwhile, the Rams will continue participating in offseason workouts, and it’s unclear how this arrest might affect Jackson’s availability in that.

The Rams are set to kick off their 2026 NFL season in early September.
