Patrick Beverley makes thoughts extremely clear on league’s recent drama

Former NBA player and podcaster Patrick Beverley has weighed in on several of the hot topics surrounding the NBA. The WNBA has had a huge spotlight due to the occurrences of spectators throwing sex toys on the court, as well as Enes Kanter Freedom being removed from the Chicago Sky’s matchup against the Fever on Sunday.

Beverley took to his podcast, The Pat Bev Show, to weigh in on what was occurring.

“Hey y’all, we gotta chill out…Enes Kanter, again, I know the message you’re trying to send, but let’s just let them hoop. Let’s just let them hoop. Like, lett hem hoop.Let’s stay out these people business, man. Let them hoop. Let them, let them play a good brand of basketball. Like, let’s not interfere with it because you putting all the pressure on the W now. Just let them hoop, right? And that’s my, that’s my take about it, right?”

He then specifically spoke about players that he enjoyed watching in the W.

“I love seeing Caitlin Clark play, right? I love seeing Aja Wilson play, right? I love to see, ooh, Goggles, fro, number one team in the, in the W, six-game win streak. I love to see her play for Minnesota Lynx. Like, love the, you know, Coach Nat. She was a coach of mine on the Clippers, right? I love the competition from the W. Let’s not throw the bllsh*t in the game, man.  Come on, man. My daughter watch this. Come on, man… This is getting a little bit barbaric. Like, let’s chill out.”
