NBA coach’s Victor Wembanyama Spurs’ prediction will catch Michael Jordan, LeBron James’ attention

There is no denying that Victor Wembanyama is a special talent. The French big man stands 7-foot-4 and joined the San Antonio Spurs as one of the most highly touted prospects ever. He has already established himself as the best defensive player in the NBA, but he does things offensively that nobody his height should be able to do, too. Wembanyama can shoot, dribble, and play make for his teammates, and he just led the Spurs to the NBA Finals in his third season.

Wembanyama has already proven quite a lot at the NBA level, but his potential is truly unmatched. Darko Rajakovic, the head coach of the Toronto Raptors, believes Wemby can become an all-time great.

“Victor Wembanyama is a unique player,” Rajakovic said on an interview with Basketball Sphere. “I think he will be in the category of players who change the game. He could very easily end up as the best player who has ever played basketball.”

That is high praise for just a three-year player, but it goes to show just how talented Wembanyama is. Furthermore, he reportedly has unmatched motivation and discipline to become great. The Alien averaged 25 points per game and was the Defensive Player of the Year last season. That was surely just the start of a career that legitimately has the potential to match that of LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
