Yankees dealt another injury concern as pitcher lands on IL
The New York Yankees have been ravaged by injuries all season long. Of course, Aaron Judge’s rip issue has been the biggest concern for the team, as the three-time MVP has been out since May. Plenty of other players have spent time on the sideline this season, though, and one of New York’s best bullpen arms just landed on the 15-Day Injured List.
Reliever Fernando Cruz has been experiencing right elbow discomfort and will now be out of action for the foreseeable future. Of course, elbow injuries are always worrisome for pitchers.
