Olivia Dean pays subtle homage to Paul McCartney after 4 sold-out shows at London’s O2

In what was a slew of homecoming shows for Olivia Dean on her Art of Loving Tour, she performed four concerts at the O2 Arena in London, England, and gave a shoutout to the iconic Paul McCartney afterward.

Dean posted a carousel of images and videos from her stay at the O2 with the caption, “4 sold out nights at the O2 [loudly crying face emoji] I love you London [loudly crying face emoji].”

She set the post to McCartney’s song “Coming Up” from his 1980 studio album, McCartney II. Perhaps that means McCartney caught one of the shows.

Olivia Dean’s 2026 Art of Loving Tour

London was just the third stop on Dean’s three-leg, 52-date Art of Loving Tour. Before playing in her hometown, Dean performed two shows in Glasgow, Scotland, and Manchester, England.

She will continue her way through Europe before coming to North America on July 10. The North American leg of the tour commences in San Francisco, California, and concludes in Austin, Texas. During this leg, Dean will play some of the United States’ biggest arenas, including four shows at Madison Square Garden.

Dean will have a variety of opening acts during the tour. Alice Phoebe Lou, Kokoroko, Jalen Ngonda, and Sasha Keable will all open for her at various shows.

The tour will conclude with a brief Oceania leg. Dean will perform in three Australian cities, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and one show in Auckland, New Zealand.

This tour is in support of her second album, The Art of Loving. The album was released on Sep. 26, 2025, and features hit songs like “Man I Need,” “Nice to Each Other,” and “So Easy (To Fall in Love).”

“Nice to Each Other” earned Dean her first Grammy win. Dean was named Best New Artist for the hit single. Her album will likely garner even more nominations next year.
