Detroit Tigers veteran pitcher Justin Verlander is recovering from a hip injury. The Tigers are obviously being cautious with the 43-year-old. According to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic, Verlander recently threw a 50-pitch batting practice. He still has work to do, but the 50-pitch BP was a good step in the right direction.
