Now, there has been an update on when the two pitchers might return to pitch this season, according to MLB.

” Schwellenbach, who had bone spurs removed from the elbow in February, is throwing bullpen sessions and hopes to be cleared to face live hitters within the first couple weeks of August. He could be activated in September. (Suarez) Began throwing after the All-Star break but was shut down when he continued to feel some forearm and elbow discomfort. Will resume throwing on Aug. 13,” MLB reported.

Both Braves’ pitchers could be a big boon for the team. It could set them up for success in the playoffs. Their returns could also provide a good problem for the Braves, as the rotation could be stacked down the stretch.
