Jason Kelce finally earns prestigious Cincinnati Hall of Fame honor

Before he was a legendary Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce played football for the Cincinnati Bearcats, and he will now be honored by being inducted into the college’s Hall of Fame.

Kelce has been announced as the final member of Cincinnati’s 50th anniversary Athletics Hall of Fame class. He is the last member of a class that also includes Bob Huggins, Loretta Blaut, Wayne Mason, Mike Kinnett, Christy Hoffman, and Connor Barwin.

When will Cincinnati induct football legend Jason Kelce into the Hall of Fame?

Cincinnati’s Hall of Fame induction will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, at 7:30 pm inside Fifth Third Arena. This takes place a night before the program’s 100th Homecoming football game against Texas Tech.

There will be a special sale for season ticket holders, UCATS members, and C-Club members. They will have a week-long window to buy $25 tickets to the ceremony starting on Monday, Aug. 17, at 10 am, and concluding on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 11:59 pm.

After that, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Aug. 24, at 10 am. Tickets cost $35 during the general sale, and all proceeds will benefit Cincinnati Athletics’ Impact Fund. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis after doors open at 6 pm on Oct. 23.

Kelce was a standout player on the Bearcats from 2006 to 2010. He was a two-time Second-team All-Big East player after initially walking on as a linebacker.

He’d go on to become a sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Kelce had a legendary career in the City of Brotherly Love, earning seven Pro Bowl and six First-team All-Pro nods. Additionally, the Eagles won one Super Bowl with Kelce as their center. They would make another Super Bowl, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, for whom his brother, Travis Kelce, plays.
