Knicks guard Josh Hart’s cheeky response to Jimmy Fallon’s untied shoes meme goes viral after Game 1 win
After having his shoes untied by Knicks guard Josh Hart, Jimmy Fallon did it again after New York’s Game 1 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals (ECF).
After the game, Fallon celebrated the victory by untying his shoes. The Tonight Show host posted a picture of them on social media, tagging Hart.

Hart responded with two emojis: the smirking face and the face with tears emojis. He doesn’t use social media often, but this clearly made an impression.
Why did Knicks’ Josh Hart untie Jimmy Fallon’s shoes?

During the Knicks’ 39-point win against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Hart untied Fallon’s shoes as he sat courtside.
It’s usually Fallon who is the jokester, but Hart beat him to the punch. Luckily, the Tonight Show host took it in stride. He is also a lifelong Knicks fan, being a New Yorker and all.
Hart had an up-and-down game against the Cavaliers. He spent most of the last few minutes on the bench in favor of Landry Shamet, who went 3-3 on three-pointers.
Still, Hart had 13 points and seven rebounds along with four assists in 31 minutes. He wasn’t efficient from beyond the three-point line, though, going 1-5. This was especially disappointing given his last performance against the Sixers. He went 4-6 from downtown in Game 4.
The Knicks were down and seemingly out with under eight minutes to go in Game 1 against the Cavs. Somehow, they managed to tie the game in regulation before pulling away in overtime.
They now lead the series 1-0 and appear to have their mojo back. The Knicks hadn’t played since Mother’s Day (May 10) and appeared rusty at first. The Cavs, meanwhile, were coming off a seven-game series against the top-seeded Detroit Pistons.
