What time is UFC Sacramento 2026? Dana White visits Sactown for first time in seven years
Sacramento hosts a UFC event for the first time since July 2019 this weekend.
In the main event, California’s own Anthony Hernandez faces Brazil’s Gregory Rodrigues to decide who will push on towards earning a potential UFC middleweight title shot.

Hernandez’s eight-fight win streak came to an end in his last appearance, as he suffered a third-round stoppage defeat to current UFC champion Sean Strickland.
Rodrigues, on the other hand, made it six victories in his last seven fights at UFC 326 in March when he brutally knocked out Brunno Ferreira.
‘Robocop’ is a behemoth of a man and can surge into the top ten UFC middleweight rankings with a win over Hernandez.
The pair headline a well-shaped Fight Night card, which features 14 bouts in total.

UFC Sacramento: What has been said?
After a Performance of the Night-winning knockout victory on her UFC debut in London in March, Shanelle Dyer couldn’t hide her emotions when previewing her fight with talkSPORT.com.
“I’m super excited to be back in the UFC cage,” Dyer said.

“It’s my US debut and I’m here to put on a show as per usual. It ain’t March 21 no more — it’s August 22.
“And I’m here to continue the momentum in Sacramento. Highlights only.”
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, main eventer Hernandez described how excited he was to be fighting so close to home.
“I think it’s dope,” ‘Fluffy’ said.
“My word speaks for itself. They know that when I fight, I’m going to go out there and give it everything I’ve got.
“And it makes for an exciting fight. Rodrigues is a dangerous motherf***er and I’ve got a great gas tank so I think it’s going to be a fun one.”

Hernandez has been training in Las Vegas with UFC middleweight champion Strickland since his defeat to the American in February.
“Strickland’s really good — I’ve got nothing bad to say about him,” Hernandez added, discussing how Strickland went from rival to sparring partner.
“I got frustrated, was trying to knock him out. I should have been more calm and I should have actually probably tried to wrestle but it’s in the moment, s*** happens.
“Strickland’s been helping me. I’ve been training with him. He actually hit me up for his fight against Khamzat [Chimaev].
“I was injured at the time and couldn’t go out and help him. I was like, ‘I’ll eventually train with you.'”
Hernandez said his number one goal in the sport is to become a UFC champion and he will stop at nothing to do so.
The longest UFC win streaks
Islam Makhachev set a remarkable UFC record when he defended the welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry in August.
Makhachev, 29-1, now has the longest win streak in UFC history, surpassing Anderson Silva’s longtime record of 16 consecutive wins when he outpointed Machado Garry at UFC 330.
The Russian’s mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov and stars like Jon Jones feature among those who have gone on remarkable runs in the UFC over the years.
And you can find the full 12-fighter list of those with the longest win streaks in UFC history on talkSPORT.com, with Georges St-Pierre and Demetrious Johnson also high up.
