Is Jalen Williams returning from hamstring injury for closeout Game 6 vs. Spurs?
The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to punch their ticket to their second straight NBA Finals on Thursday. They could welcome back star guard Jalen Williams for their Game 6 road matchup vs. the San Antonio Spurs.
Williams is questionable on Thursday after missing the last three games of the series due to a left hamstring strain. The Thunder listed Williams as questionable for Games 4 and 5 before ruling him out.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Monday that Williams is day-to-day with his hamstring injury.

Williams’ return would offer a significant boost to an Oklahoma City offense that is already without Ajay Mitchell (calf strain). After appearing in just 33 games during the regular season while battling numerous injuries, Williams has averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.5 assists on 48.4 percent shooting across four playoff appearances.
The Thunder turned in their worst offensive performance of the season during a 103-82 Game 4 loss, shooting 30-of-91 (33 percent) from the field and 6-of-33 (18 percent) from three. However, they bounced back during a crucial 127-114 win in Game 5 on Tuesday. Mark Daigneault’s squad shot 40-of-83 (48 percent) from the field and 14-of-32 (44 percent) from three during the victory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled early but finished with 32 points on 7-of-19 shooting from the field, 2-of-3 from three and 16-of-17 from the free-throw line. Alex Caruso added 22 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three. Jared McCain chipped in 20 points on 7-of-19 shooting in 33 minutes during his first career playoff start.
The Thunder held Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama to 20 points on 4-of-15 shooting with six rebounds, one assist and two turnovers.
