Injured WWE star deletes post criticizing Jade Cargill’s ‘sloppy’ Night of Champions move
After unsuccessfully challenging Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship at Night of Champions, WWE Superstar Jade Cargill was criticized for a move she did by injured star Piper Niven.
Cargill had reposted a clip of the move on X, formerly Twitter, praising herself, saying, “D**n this was beautiful.” Niven then weighed in, giving her honest thoughts on the spot.

“5/10 a bit sloppy,” she wrote, “You didn’t transfer her weight onto your chest so you never really had her and that’s why she slipped out and you got that double bump effect and her head verberated on the mat.
“But you looked great, and who cares who you hurt so long as you’re alright, right?” she continued.
The post has seemingly been deleted from X. WWE fans were mixed on the post, likely prompting her to delete it and make a new one.

Niven has since changed her tune, calling Cargill a “real one” while claiming the “Storm” hitting the move was a “homage” to the injured wrestler.
“[You] know what warms my heart? After all we’ve been through, [Jade Cargill] paying homage to me and keeping my moves alive in the ring [clapping hands emoji]. You’re a real one sis.”
Upon her return, Niven promised to “show you how to transfer their weight so you get the pin next time,” somewhat retaining the original message of her since-deleted post.
As Niven noted, she has a long history with Cargill. They have faced once in singles action, that being during the Apr. 12, 2024, edition of Friday Night SmackDown. They have also faced in tag team action and during the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament. Cargill won the first round Queen of the Ring matchup in 2025. Niven hasn’t wrestled a match since the Aug. 22, 2025, edition of SmackDown due to a neck injury.
