Falcons’ Bijan Robinson cheesing hard after becoming highest-paid RB in NFL history
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has plenty of reasons to smile. Seventy-five million reasons, to be exact.
Robinson made league history on Tuesday after becoming the highest-paid running back ever with a three-year, $75 million contract extension. It took some time for Robinson and the Falcons to reach an agreement, but obviously, it was worth the stress for the 24-year-old star.
Robinson surpassed Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley for the expensive distinction. Barkley signed a two-year, $41.2 million contract extension in 2025.
Robinson did not need to say anything to react to his new deal, as shared by the Falcons on X.

Fans were thrilled for the two-time Pro Bowler.
“Well-deserved! Best back in football, and he’s going to go nuclear with Kevin Stefanski,” said @JLSports24.
“My dawg! Worth every penny! Congrats, G!” added @Joe_bruh.
“Looks like the Falcons finally found a runway they can actually use,” wrote @Shiva470487490.
“Legendary smile,” noted @Srikant69738115.
“Man looks happy this season,” commented @hitandtarget.
Robinson was named to the All-Pro First Team last season after tallying a career-high 1,478 rushing yards for seven touchdowns. He also had career-highs of 79 receptions and 820 receiving yards for four touchdowns.
More details to come.
