Graphic warning: Rising WWE star stretchered out of RAW after bloody Jacob Fatu attack

Two nights after taking part in a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam Night 1, rising WWE Superstar Royce Keys took on Jacob Fatu on Monday Night RAW and was attacked afterward, resulting in him being stretchered out of the arena.

In the main event of the Aug. 3, 2026, edition of RAW, the two competed in a “Street Fight.” Fatu picked up the win via technical submission after locking in the Tongan Death Grip.

The “Samoan Werewolf” wouldn’t let go of the submission hold, causing Keys to fade, and blood began coming out of his mouth. WWE officials eventually intervened, separating them temporarily, but Fatu eventually hit Keys with a running hip attack in the corner while a chair was wrapped around his neck.

WWE later uploaded footage of Keys being taken backstage via stretcher. He was coughing up blood as he was being wheeled to the back.

Some fans had fun with the color of the blood he was spitting up. One fan wrote, “He ate a lot of ketchup, didn’t he,” while another gave a suggestion, saying, “The least you can do is turn the video black and white if you want to try and make it look real-ish.”

Either way, it was a brutal attack to close out RAW. More than likely, Keys will be absent from WWE for a little while. Expect him to resume his feud with Fatu upon his return.

Royce Keys’ WWE career

It finally appears Keys is getting a marquee singles feud on the main roster. He joined WWE in early 2026, debuting at the Royal Rumble.

After months of having dark matches, Keys joined Friday Night SmackDown in April 2026. He won the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in his second match on SmackDown.

In May 2026, he faced Gunther in a losing effort in a No.1 contendership match. He would then begin getting involved with members of The Bloodline, and at SummerSlam, he teamed up with Solo Sikoa and LA Knight to defeat the faction’s Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Fatu.
