Dodgers president doesn’t hold back on Tarik Skubal pursuit after Tigers trade
With the Los Angeles Dodgers making the blockbuster trade for star pitcher Tarik Skubal from the Detroit Tigers, there’s no denying that the already-stacked roster just got that much better. As the Dodgers hunt for a three-peat World Series run, president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman kept it real on pursuing Skubal.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Friedman wouldn’t hold back that the main priority ahead of Monday’s trade deadline was to be “aggressive” for Skubal, according to Sonja Chen.
“We were of the mind to be aggressive for one player this deadline, and fortunately, we were able to line up,” Friedman said.
