Derrick Henry gets emotional when asked about potentially winning Super Bowl with Baltimore

Baltimore Ravens star Derrick Henry is passionate about achieving his Super Bowl goal. In an interview with Rich Eisen on the Rich Eisen Show on Wednesday ahead of the start of the 2026 football season, Henry spoke about how he would feel if the Ravens were to break through and win the Super Bowl this season.

“It means everything. I might cry the rest of the year if that happens. I might just tear up every time I think about it.”

When Eisen asked whether he felt the Ravens could win the Super Bowl, Henry was confident.

“For sure, for sure…I feel like we got the guys to go and do it. When they came close in 23, 24, we lost in the division and missed the playoffs last year with so much expectation. We just got to get it done. We got so long, and it’s time that we all feel that we can do it. We got to go out there and do it.”

In a statement released by the Ravens via The Lounge podcast, Henry spoke about his other motivation to win: how disappointed he would be if he didn’t achieve the goal of a Super Bowl victory with Lamar Jackson by his side.

“It would be crazy for me to say I played with Lamar Jackson and we didn’t win no championships. I cannot have that. I do not want that to be a thing. We’ve got to do it.”

The Ravens start their championship push in a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
