Cubs’ Nico Hoerner leaves Diamondbacks game with neck tightness
The Chicago Cubs have played well in 2026 despite dealing with a number of injuries. On Friday, they were dealt another injury concern as infielder Nico Horner exited Friday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks due to left-sided neck tightness. Hoerner was removed after he grimaced while running the bases in the first inning, as he appeared to be in some pain.
