AEW suing streaming service for $5 million
The legal world of pro-wrestling just got more complicated. With AEW now moving its broadcasting and streaming services to Prime Video and MYAEW, the promotion has now sued Triller TV and its parent company.
Reported by POST Wrestling on Monday, May. 11, 2026, AEW filed a lawsuit against TrillerTV and its parent company, Triller Group, Inc. The lawsuit alleges that the streaming platform owes All Elite Wrestling nearly $5 million in overdue payments. The claimed outstanding payments are a result of AEW pay-per-view events broadcast on TrillerTV and subscriptions to AEW Plus.
“[Triller Group Inc.’s] strategy of robbing revenues generated by TrillerTV’s distribution of AEW content to cover other of Defendants’ operating expenses (much of which was spent on the social media platform endeavor) negatively impacted its relationship with and payments owed to AEW,” as per court documents obtained by POST Wrestling.
On April 29th, AEW filed a lawsuit in the Duval County Court in Florida. The lawsuit claims that TrillerTV’s parent company diverted revenue earned by AEW to finance other ventures, such as a social media platform that never launched, instead of paying what it owed to AEW. However, a few weeks before AEW filed a lawsuit on Triller TV, the streaming service had already filed one against its own parent group, Triller Group, Inc.
POST Wrestling also revealed that, according to Flipps’ lawsuit, TrillerTV was abandoned by Triller Group. The filing claims that the company is currently being operated by CEO Kostadin Jordanov and President and COO Eric Winter. Also, an email sent to Adam Bigwood was responded to by stating that he no longer works for the company.
