WWE’s Liv Morgan claims Stephanie Vaquer is ‘lucky’ after showing off grotesque face bruises

Following an attack by her WWE WrestleMania 42 opponent Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan is sporting bruises on her face, but she is on the mend.

During an appearance on First Take, Morgan clapped back at the haters who call WWE “fake.” Morgan said she’s “doing so much better than I’m looking” before sending a warning to Vaquer.

“I think that people that accuse wrestling of being fake are ill-informed. You cannot fake this bruising; you cannot fake this swelling. But I’m doing well. And Stephanie Vaquer is so lucky that I’m still pretty.”

Morgan is still on the mend following the backstage attack that landed her in concussion protocol alongside her Judgment Day stablemate, Roxanne Perez.

The bruises on Morgan’s face are a result of Vaquer’s attack during the Mar. 30, 2026, edition of Monday Night RAW. Vaquer attacked Morgan while she was talking to Perez backstage.

She shoved Morgan into Perez. Their heads collided, and it made an audible sound. That wasn’t it, though, as Vaquer then threw Morgan through a TV. All the while, Perez lay on the ground and remained there until the segment was over.

Morgan and Perez were then evaluated for concussions by WWE medical personnel. Luckily, it appears Morgan is good to go for WrestleMania. She returned the favor the following week on RAW, attacking Vaquer from behind.

They will settle their differences at WrestleMania 42. Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble after coming so close to winning the annual battle royal in past years.

Their match will take place during the first night of WrestleMania on Saturday, Apr. 18. The winner walks out of the show as the Women’s World Champion. Vaquer is in her first Women’s World Championship reign after beating Iyo Sky for it at Wrestlepalooza.
