WWE star Nia Jax clears the air after receiving praise for weight loss

After receiving praise for her seeming weight loss, WWE Superstar Nia Jax has cleared the air and potentially revealed the reason for it.

A fan account posted two images of Jax, showing off her weight loss. The recent picture was shared by Jax on Instagram on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The fan account raved, “Nia Jax has made great progress with her weight loss.”

The “Irresistible Force” then responded to the post, explaining, “Listen….I was having an allergic reaction and I’ve just now gotten it under control [face with tears emoji].” A fan commented, “D**n bee stings,” to which Jax responded, “Exactly.”

Did WWE star Nia Jax lose weight?

It does appear that Jax has slimmed down over the last couple of years since her return to WWE. However, it is ultimately her business.

Jax returned to WWE in 2023 after being released in November 2021. Since coming back, she has become one of the most dominant women in the division.

She has won the Women’s Championship twice and won the Queen of the Ring tournament in 2024. Additionally, she is a three-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, winning the gold with Shayna Baszler twice and Lash Legend once.

Currently, she is in the tag team division with Legend, forming the Irresistible Forces. They beat Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship during the Feb. 27, 2026, edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

However, their reign would only last 50 days. The Irresistible Forces would lose the championship to the team of Brie Bella and a returning Paige at WrestleMania 42.

After losing the Women’s Tag Team Championship, the Irresistible Forces unsuccessfully challenged Bella and Paige for them. They lost matches on SmackDown and at the May 2026 Saturday Night’s Main Event to the team.

Pairing Jax with Legend gives the young Superstar a veteran presence to show her the ropes. Legend only made her main roster debut last year, competing in the Evolution battle royal. She would make her proper main roster debut in November 2025.
