WWE legend goes viral for spicy World Cup IG post

As the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup continues, WWE Legend CJ Perry (formerly Lana) has made her rooting interests clear in a new Instagram post.

She took to Instagram to share a video of herself dancing in a small bikini, which featured the flag of Argentina on it. She wrote, “Who are you rooting for in the World Cup???” over the video.

Perry used the post to promote her Passes account. Subscribers could join her as she live-streamed during the World Cup matches.

Argentina last defeated Jordan 3-1 on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Five days earlier, they had beaten Austria 2-0 in the tournament. Lionel Messi has had a historic run with Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Perry is best known for her time in WWE as Lana. She debuted in 2013 and served as the “social ambassador” for Rusev, her real-life husband.

She would largely serve in a managerial role from 2013 to 2016. However, she started wrestling more frequently in 2016, and she would remain an in-ring competitor until her release in June 2021.

Over two years after her WWE release, Perry joined AEW, trying to save her husband, who was now going by the ring name Miro, at All Out on Sep. 3.

Perry would only stick around for a couple of months. She would not wrestle in the promotion before making her last appearance in November 2023.

She then returned to WWE in April 2025, signing a “legends” contract. That same day, her husband, who had reverted to his Rusev ring name, returned to WWE as well, competing on Monday Night RAW.

During her in-ring career, Perry never won a championship. However, she did make appearances in movies like Pitch Perfect (and its first sequel) and Countdown.

Additionally, she joined the main cast of Total Divas in the sixth season after being a guest star in Season 4. She would remain a main cast member through Season 8. Perry also made appearances in the Total Bellas spin-off.
