White Sox’s Miguel Vargas joins 30-home-run club for 1st time in his career

The Chicago White Sox have made several maneuvers to accelerate their rebuild and contend for a divisional title this season. The organization has collectively exceeded expectations, but the Miguel Vargas acquisition probably does not get enough attention. The former Los Angeles Dodgers prospect currently leads the ballclub in OPS, and in Friday night’s game versus the Minnesota Twins, he became the first Sox player to hit 30 home runs in 2026.
