Timberwolves’ Naz Reid gets 100% real about NBA’s Victor Wembanyama decision
The Minnesota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs are deadlocked in a very tight second-round playoff series, and things have gotten chippy between the two teams.
During Game 4, Spurs star Victor Wembanyama threw an elbow into the neck of Wolves big man Naz Reid, earning a Flagrant 2 foul and an early ticket to the showers. The NBA reviewed the play and determined there would be no further penalty for Wembnayama, who avoided a suspension for a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday night.
Before the game back in San Antonio, Reid gave his take on the decision not to suspend Wembanyama.
“I'm happy. I just want to be able to play a full, healthy team… I don’t really care, I just want to hoop.”

“I’m happy,” Reid said. “I just want to be able to play a full, healthy team. Get a chance to compete against them at full capacity and make things happen and make things in our favor. I don’t really mind it, I don’t really care, I just want to hoop. I’m sure he just wants to hoop.”
