Third Chelsea star casts doubt over his future amid Enzo Fernandez’s two-game suspension
Moises Caicedo has become the latest Chelsea player to comment on a possible move to Spain following comments from Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella.
Fernandez has been suspended by the club for the next two games after he spoke about his love for Madrid.

Cucurella also spoke out over the international break about a potential switch to Barcelona in the near future.
And Caicedo has now been speaking about Madrid and his Stamford Bridge future, with the Ecuador international failing to confirm he will remain in west London.
Speaking to Spanish news outlet AS, he was asked about a potential transfer to Real Madrid, to which he said: “You never know in football, don’t you think?
“I have a contract with Chelsea now.
“The truth is, I haven’t honestly thought about another club, about leaving London, but well, in the end, you never know in football.
“All I want is to enjoy myself. I have a contract and I want to keep playing as long as God allows.
“After that, we’ll see what happens. I have a contract, but we’ll see what the future holds. Let’s see what surprises await us.”
Caicedo wasn’t shy in professing his love for the Spanish capital either, having been based their in the March international break.
He remarked: “It’s really amazing, the city is truly beautiful, I’ve been here before and I’m always excited about it.
“The weather is lovely too… I’m absolutely delighted to be here.”

And on Chelsea, he finished by saying: “Chelsea is a fantastic club.
“They’ve helped me enormously since I arrived. I want to thank them for that and show my gratitude in every match, for as long as I’m here. And well, time will tell.”
Since joining the Blues from Brighton in the summer of 2023 for a then-British record £115million, the 24-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best defensive midfielders.
And Chelsea are in no rush to cash in on him, with the player tied down at the club until 2031.
Feeling Blue
Caicedo’s interview followed Fernandez and Cucurella both speaking about their future.
Boss Liam Rosenior deemed Fernandez’s comments to be a step too far, leading to him being suspended for the FA Cup clash with Port Vale and against Manchester City in the top-flight.

talkSPORT understands that Fernandez’s dream move is to Real Madrid.
Commenting on Fernandez’s latest bombshell interview, Rosenior said: “I spoke with Enzo an hour ago.
“As a football club, with me as part of that process, we’ve made a decision.
“He won’t be available for tomorrow’s games, and he won’t be available for Manchester City next Sunday.”
