For most quarterbacks, mechanics are established early in their careers. For Burrow, they remain an ongoing science project. This meticulous approach explains how he boasts the highest career completion percentage in the league.

Burrow looks to bounce back fully after a toe injury derailed the middle portion of his 2025 campaign. He logged just eight starts last season, but still managed to post a 100.7 passer rating. In his final appearance of the year against the Cleveland Browns, Burrow reminded everyone of his capabilities. He completed 29 of 39 passes for 236 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in a tight 20-18 loss. Despite the missed time, he finished the year with 1,809 passing yards and 17 touchdowns to only five interceptions.

Now completely healthy and tweaking his mechanics to squeeze out every ounce of efficiency, Burrow aims to replicate the magic of his historic 2024 run. He led the league that year with 4,918 yards and 43 passing touchdowns. If his newly improved throwing motion translates onto the field on Sundays, opposing defenses across the AFC North could face another exceptionally long year trying to slow down this hyper-efficient passing attack all season long.
